CGI has been named as a partner on the UK Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Digital and Legacy Application Services (DALAS) framework[RM6335]. The framework enables delivery of critical application services that, in turn, will have a positive impact on taxpayers and improve the experience of His Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC) users. Its focus is to help the UK Government and public sector shift away from legacy systems and provide more cost effective and innovative services.

CGI, a partner on both Digital, Integration and Programme Application Services (Lot 2a) and Application and Integration Run Services (Lot 3), will deliver services in user-centered design, application delivery and application management. In addition, CGI will support the development and implementation of future applications that are less dependent on legacy technologies, as well as building and evolving digital platforms.

Available to all central government departments and UK public sector bodies, DALAS provides access to IT digital services to help develop and implement future applications – supporting the shift away from legacy technologies to provide more cost effective and innovative services in line with digital strategy.

Michael Herron, Senior Vice President, Central Government Business Unit at CGI in the UK said: “We are very pleased to be named a partner on CCS’s DALAS framework. We’re looking forward to expanding on our existing relationship with HMRC to provide key services that will continue to support their mission, and in time potentially other government departments.”

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. Throughout 2022 and 2023, CCS has helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion, supporting world-class public services that offer the best value for taxpayers.
